S-video and RCA into HVX.

Hi,

Wondering what the steps are necessary to get s-video (video) and RCA (audio) into the HVX together and recorded onto tape or P2. DO i have to record in VCR mode?

Is there a setting to change s-video to in/out? same for RCA? I have only ever seen that setting for 1334.

The reason is that we are recording a video conference call, so audio and video come from different sources.

Set the cam to VCR mode. The s-video, composite and RCA audio are bi-directional on the HVX. If you want the incoming analog signals to go out the 1394 port for A-D conversion you can set menu item 1394 OUT to on. Not sure if the incoming analog will record to P2 or just to the tape - never tried it.
