S&Q on PMW-350

I know it's not a "EX" cam but I bet someone could help me out.

What ever I do on this camera I cannot go into the menu under "Rec Function" and turn ON Slow & Quick Motion. Doesn't matter if I have it set to 1080 (which I know won't work anyway) or any of the 720 formats. Nothing allows me to select it. It's just grayed out. At first I though it might be because we have the "economy cards". But I looked into that and these cards are faster than the "pro" versions.

There's no S&Q dial on the cam like the EX3. Unless I am totally blind. I'm at a loss. Anyone?

Lists a number of memory cards incompatible with S&Q.

MS-HX32G (32GB) (does not support slow motion of S&Q mode)
MS-HX16G (16GB) (does not support slow motion of S&Q mode)
MS-HX8G (8GB) (does not support slow motion of S&Q mode)
MS-HX4G (4GB) (does not support slow motion of S&Q mode)


A 2/3" chip camera with economy cards? For shame! ;-)

Ended up finding the answer from a person on Creative Cow. Turns out that when you have "Rec Cache" set to asign switch 2 it grays out the S&Q.

Cards are the same. Just don't last as long and they're faster. ha!

The cards listed above are actually Memory Sticks.
