S-Log video capture issue

I am not able to record clean video with 4.4.4 or s-log . I am using dual link and recording to a PC with blackmagic design extreme 3d installed in it. The picture is flickering every other second. Initially I thought it was the PC not able to record high rates of data and so have installed now a SSD, 60GB card.

The test software shows that the data rate read and write are extremely high but still I am getting the flicking video.. 4.2.2 is all fine and am able to record video but the moment I change the settings to any S-log or 4.4.4, I am getting this flickering video issue.

What am I doing wrong?

haven't worked on it on a PC, but if there are any options like this to check...

A. look for any black magic control panel/preference panel that control the settings of your decklink. make sure everything is set to 444, dual link, etc. etc. and you can try switching back and forth from using progressive and PSF to see if that helps also.

B. are you using BM software to capture or something else? make sure you have a 444 codec enabled, i'm assuming either cineform or uncompressed rgb. (if your hard drive was too slow you'd drop frames, not have a flicker issue)

My guess it's a combination of your decklink settings, and codec you are using.

A . Have tried all options and still face the issue.

B. am using BM software. 444 enabling is in the camera.

are you recording to a 444 codec ?

Using media express from BM. Don't see an option to choose a codec.

Only options are avi , 10bit RGB amd AVI 10 bit YUV and using DPX 10 bit RGB . Have tried all these options except the YUV ones..

when going to DPX, you still have a flicker issue when you look at it in AE? double check the camera whether it's outputing PSF or P, also, and match it on the system, it makes a difference.
