I need help an explaination!

i work in PAL (EU) area and record F3 s-log Samurai 422 prores (HQ), NLE PC Win7 64bit, Premiere pro 5.5, BM Multibridge.
Final results were watched on HD Flat screens streamed or with BlueRay.

My possibillities are 1080 25p oder 1080 50i. Shutter speed mostly 1/50 or 1/100.
Recording in 25p i am not happy with results of camers-movement (pan or tilt), exept they were done veryy very slowly. When i record 50i camera movements (pan and tilt) are no problem.

Is there a huge quality different between recording s-log 422 in 25p or 50i.
What about grading differences in those two recording methods.

thanks
Klaus

Update:
my previewmonitors are calibrated: Sony OLED 2541 (50Hz 12bit), Samusug full HD Flat 36 (50 Hz)

Hi Klaus,

Have you seen any other 25p footage on these screens? Because it takes a little getting used to watching 25p.
If you look at 25p just after seeing only 50I it feels awkward. But if you look at it for long periods of time you get used to it.
Its not about a quality difference but more another viewing experience.

25p needs the same attention as 24p- nothing special, no magic etc- it's half of the motion of 50i. Shoot at 50p and than you have goods of both formats: 25p and 50i.

thanks Kolak,
ok understood,
but how can i shoot the F3 1920x1080 50p ??. Which menue buttons have to be used for that ? What configuration ?
Samurai also allowes me only 25p or 50i.

Maybe i missunderstood sonething ?
