RX100 - killer compact cinema cam. Lots of blog posts and footage.

This little compact has really blown my mind. It's sharper than most other DSLR's, shoots 1080p60, and has more manual controls than Sony's VG series. It will shoot up to 30 mins per segment and battery lasts about an hour while shooting, which is epic for a point-and-shoot cam. And it's pocketable.

For what it is the RX100 can deliver some nice results and as you say rather get a shot with a less pro camera than none at all.
You got some nice moves there also, some cool compositions, however I think most of the low light and club shots are just too noisy and soft on such high ISOs and not better than DSLRs, but then again, it's pretty amazing how far pocket cameras have come.
