Ruby on Rails "Get a Mac" Parody Ads

I recently shot and edited a bunch of web-based ads for the guys at www.RailsEnvy.com. We did it in the style of the "Get a Mac" ad campaign. Now, of course we realize it's been done, but we were pretty sure nobody had made a parody using programming languages/frameworks yet, so we figured it couldn't hurt.

Anyway, I shot the ads with my DVX100a and a few of them are up on YouTube now. The quality is a little low, but that's YouTube I suppose.

Haha, yeah. I guess it is. I've been trying to learn ruby for a while too, which is kind of funny. Maybe all this will help.

All of my friends went crazy for Ruby a while back and I'm just like: "not another one!!! There's too many damned languages and frameworks as it is!" :)

Cool stuff. I've been playing around w/ PHP, usually in the context of content management systems, so I'll definitely take a look at RoR.
