RPZ's on FS100 experiment.

DSC00796.jpg

We are using some Red Zooms on a set of F3's, but today I got bored and with some free time, took my E-mount to PL adapter I use on my NEX5 photography camera and put it on the FS100 which is our C-camera. Pretty funny to see, actually.

your right matt, I didn't look at the picture and was just reading

plus my head is trapped in narrative which is why I always gravitate to those focal lengths

Really would love to see a "real world" side by side comparison of the kit lens and the RPZ.

Ours doesn't have the kit lens. We have an alpha to e-mount adapter and primarily are using the tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 or a sigma 17-50mm f/2.8. I have the kinda horrendous NEX-5 kit lens which is a f3.5-f5.6 18-55mm. That is e-mount and is compatible with the FS100, but we don't ever shoot with in. It's sometimes a quick-fix lens cap for the fs100 when I steel the fs100 alpha adapter and subsequent lenses for my stills camera. :)
