Royal Camera?

[DavePotts]

I'm in the market for a DVX100A, and I came across RoyalCamera.com, who are selling them for the crazy price of $1839. I don't know what to make of this, and I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with these guys. My gut reaction is "grey market...STAY AWAY!" but I could be wrong. If anyone wants to check out their site its @ www.royalcamera.com

The about page does say that US warranties may cost extra and some items carry overseas warranties.

Re: Royal Camera?

I ordered from them awhile ago and it was a nightmare. They lie and cheat, whatever it takes to make you think your getting a deal.

Re: Royal Camera?

these scumbags sure know how to lure people:

"Thank you for choosing Royal camera Inc. we make our best effort to ensure that you enjoy a smooth online shopping experience. Shop with confidence - All items we carry are brand new and factory fresh."

Re: Royal Camera?

Thanks so much for your input. I figured SOMETHING had to be fishy if they were offering one for $1800 and B&H had a used one for $3000.
I guess if it sounds too good to be true...

Cheers!
