They probably knew pre-order numbers wouldn't be high if they stated that the 4K mode only shot up to 15 fps (not even sure if it goes that high since the video on YouTube says 10 fps). That's very shady as they dodged questions many times.
 
I think this is the first time when a sponsor here is accused of cheating (it is cheating indeed if at 4K it only does 15fps). I hope at the minimum it can shoot at 4K 25fps
 
Basically it looks as if they're using old GoPro 3 technology. 4k was 15fps in that as well. Or maybe it's similar to a Hero 4 Silver which is 4k 15fps and a Display on the back. That's currently $340 at B&H and the Feiyu Gimbal is about $250. I guess they feel the market will for a $399 all in one but it's less flexible.
 
so far have not seen real user posting any video clip other than filmpower themselves. This made me feel the mass shipping is bull ****. I have lost fate in this company and will never buy from them anymore.
 
I emailed Filmpower about specs for the Roxor and they sent me a spec sheet. I'm on my mobile and can't post it until I get to my computer but I can confirm:

Contrast the following several kinds of products, please consider. ROXOR has a lens, a display and stabilizer, but its price is only $399.

I emailed Filmpower a few days ago and received a reply yesterday stating that they didn't know what frame rate 4K shoots at because they "hadn't been told yet." Prior to that email, I had already been sent their spec sheet with the confirmed frame rate of 10fps@4K from a different employee.

What a gong show.
 
The Roxor has one heck of a sensor. 1.2 Billion pixels! From the pre-order page:

I certainly hope you understand what you are writing. If you want your product to market worldwide , your arrogant attitude is a No No. I believe even in China today, consumers will not buy into this too

You never answered anyone's questions regarding the parameters of the camera and waited until they were shipped for the consumer to find out on their own. Incredibly shady. I will never buy one of your products.
 
Personally I'm not happy about the practices of several companies I buy products from. That would include Apple (secretiveness about their ProApps) and Blackmagic (long delays and feature changes between announcement and release as well as issues after release), Sony (issues with released gear. See what's going with the FS5 lately). Ultimately it's about the product. I've learned not to depend on company's marketing material and never to pre-order. I wait until I see a number of user reviews. Of course any company that's completely forthright and earns trust is going to have advantage. It's a shame so many companies don't see that as an advantage.

Filmpower DNA tends to be first to market with some innovation and some drawbacks. All one can do is be patient and weigh it against the rest of the market.

Didn't you know? Filmpower Inc is based out of San Francisco. It says so right on their website.
