Roughcut of Music video

a haze filter pretty much does what it says, it creates the soft edges, glowy/hazey kind of look similar to what you had obviously done in post. It creates that dreamy feel.

What program did you use to edit? not that i'm a pro edtor but i havn't played much with diffusion before.

I edit in final cut. and yea i did shoot in direct sunlight, no lighting or bounce cards or anything. just added some contrast and what not and did some color correction

i loved the video, and the song. i thougt the same thing as djdougyfrsh, when you cut back to they guy watching, just don't do anything to the audio and it shouldn't seem so out of place. the color and camera movements rocked. well done.

Do you mean you use a telephoto adapter? Or just zoom in shots with the standard lens?
Great Work.

Looks like you are almost getting a 35mm adaptor effect with that telephoto -- but don't you have to get hella far way using the telephoto for all those shots? would you recommend it over a wide angle lens for someone with limited resources?

Thanks

no you dont at all. when i get closeups, sometimes i'll get as close as i can with my camera and get a cool depth of field

Like it a lot bro. Nothing wrong with the cut back to the dude to me. I really like the color and framing in the intro with dude walking. Style of the performance has been done a lot in the past so I can't say I love it like others do. But you are most definitely technically proficient at emulating the look. Keep it up homie. You are talented for sure.
