Rough Edit of Me New Video!

Hey guys,

Its been a long time since I've posted on DVXuser, and I just shot a new video for my high school. The edit is a bit rough right now, and some of it doesn't make sense, (along with the fact that its packed with alot of inside jokes), but I'm really pleased with the images i got from the DVX. did u just desaturate to get black and whit? it was soo nice coloring for b and w

I desaturated for the black and white, and also went a bit extreme with the curves - crushed the blacks quite a bit to get a more contrasty picture. Also, I got lucky with the lighting which just happened to be pretty harsh

Were you looking for a Film-Noir-ish black and white?

I'd push that contrast, push in more black, make the image a little rougher. This is something you can do in post so there is nothing to worry about.
