This is a much improved version. The pacing is excellent as well as the use of different 'colors'. I love it. The song is hooked into my skull BTW.

Is there anyway to incorporate footage of 'MC' into this? I know you are going for an urban/80's old school feel; I think any footage (performance and conceptual) of MC would greatly BENE this piece.

Just a thought. Very nice.

No, not my group but i used to be partners with them. I can only play the radio without missing a note. Yeah, I really like the leather jackets and vests they got this time.

John, supposed to be projecting some of thier old videos on stuff like walls, the car, steam... I have had a turn in attitudes though the last few days (see post in cafe') and its taking its toll on me phsically and creatively. I still have to shoot more and replace alot of the reoccuring stuff.

My first time seeing this. Nicely done! I think my only comment really is the band member in the white hat didn't really seem to be into his performance, lol...
Song was pretty damn good too. What's the name of the group? The guy with the baseball cap looks a bit like the guy from Everlast. Singer sounds like him too.

Of course, I have to ask this... How in the world did you get Annabella Sciorra (<-spelling?) to be involved?

Thanks StoryTeller. Hehe, yeah the dude in the white hat... hes always like that. I have to figure out a way to get him hyped up somehow. Everyone that see it and knows him says "yup, thats Adam." That dude is Everlast from House of Pain(Jump Around) now just Everlast. Hes more like a blues singer now, love his voice.
Annabella and Everlast = old friends of the band, we are/were (still up in the air) going to get more cameos involved that were around at the time of RUNDMC to pay tribute to Jam Master Jay. Dont know if you know RUNDMC's music but I was there the night they recorded "Here we go:Live at the Funhouse" in 1983 and if you listen reallllly close you can here my screaming. Just kidding. That beltbuckle shot of the clown face was a Funhouse beltbuckle that Annabella bought way back when she used to hang in the funhouse. Madonna used to hang there too before and after her first hits. I was hoping we could get in touch with her for a quick cameo. I would think the memories would spark a bit of intrest with her.
Also, the idea of a second video for the same song is a possibility to work in some other "back-in-the-day" scenarios.

Hey Oppressor I really liked your video. The shots of the two guys in the back seat were really nice and well lit, but the shots of them singing out the window were dark and could have used even just a little bit of lighting. I think some warm (organe-ish) soft light could have made them look much better. On the whole though it was very enjoyable and the music is great. I like the blend of rap and acoustic almost bluesish styles. Good stuff.

What kind of camera did you film with?

Heres a higher REZ version of that same rough cut and I boosted the gamma a little because its dark on computer monitors.

I havnt touched this a while but hope to start again in a week or two to tighen it up and add/subtract scenes.
