RotoRazor 1 or 2?

If you have to pick either Rotorazor 1 or 2 for the sgblade which one do you choose?

I'd pick the one which is in the original SGPro, which ever one that is.

both for experienced user, for you - rr1, no need to create yourself additional problems with ground glasses. why rr1? less light required.

Get both if you can. I have both, and RR2 is my favorite, but RR1 will come in handy in low light situations.

I love overcast days. The skin tones come out just perfect.

I'm curious to see a side by side comparison of the RR2 on the XH A1, with RR2 on an HMC150 and see which one is more sensitive. I refuse to shoot with the XH A1 passed 0db gain, but from what I've seen +6db gain on the 150 is cleaner than the A1's 0db gain.

Anyone?

The ability to change elements is essential in this bracket of filmmaking (or at least the one I'm in). I would rather own more lighting fixtures, then own two adapters. Plain and simple.

I definitely would buy both.

I'm not sure what you mean..but I manually white balanced the shots. hope that helps!

Finally a day without rain! Here's some footage with the XHA1 and RR2.

The first minute and a half was shot at f8 which held up pretty good! (see screen grabs) the rest was at f4. You can easily tell as the DOF is much more shallow at f4.
