Rotobrush question

What is the best way to get a rotobrush to stay. I have a shot of some shoes and the lighting changes, the guy standing there almost doesn't move at all. I want the roto to sit still for most of the frames and let me go in manually and adjust where need be.

I will roto several frames perfectly then press the spacebar to let it run and it jumps around all over the place when the lighting changes. HELP. Thanks.

Seems like a vector mask might be better. I find rotobrush to be too slow and frustrating almost every time. Masking can be insanely boring, but effective - especially if you learn to feather masks to match your shot.
