Was at Roscor in Detroit -- Roscor is one of the flagship dealers for Panasonic. They said that they've fulfilled their list of backorders, and for new orders they're running somewhere around 1 week delivery times, so if you place an order for an HVX today you might have it within a week. They also have locations in Mount Prospect, IL; Milwaukee WI; and Cincinnati OH. But I didn't talk to those guys, I only talked to the guys in Michigan and that's what I was told.

I had a very good experience ordering my camera from Roscor. I ordered it on Feb. 3 and it arrived Feb. 7. The sales representative I spoke with was Lee Drady, and he was very professional. I ordered from them today (Chicago office) and the rep wasn't that confident. That said, I figured I can spend every day calling around or just commit and order one, so that's what I did. Looking at a month-ish right now to be conservative. If it comes sooner, great, otherwise I'll probably survive.
