So when I first got this camera, I went on a vacation to Alaska and shot tons of footage. When I did L&T in FCP my naive self used apple intermediate codec instead of apple pro res. And I also did not yet know the importance of saving the original PRIVATE folder in case I needed to transfer again.
So basically, I am stuck with hours and hours of 1280/720 60p footage that was brought in with AIC. I'm editing on Apple Pro Res 422 HQ timeline.
My question is, could I have made the footage look a lot better had I done L&T with pro res? I feel like I just screwed up big time.
