Romantic/sexual tension between the lead and the antagonist?

Hello everyone. Sorry if this subject have been covered before.

I'm looking for movies / stories that has a romantic plot between the protagonist and the antagonist. Guess it's nothing original, but I can't think of any movie that I know of.

Bad example but you get the idea: Local maffia boss has a sexual relation with the female chief of police as she tries to fight crime in the city.

Let's see... Batman/Catwoman? That one scene in First Contact with Data and the Borg queen maybe. Can't think of any non-genre examples.

The Thomas Crown Affair. The original1968 version with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway has one of the all time best scenes for romantic tension between a wealthy art thief and the insurance investigator trying to bust him.

The remake with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo is cute and entertaining but doesn't have the raw emotional power of the original.

A little old film I saw called "Gone The Wind" or "Gone With Wind" or something like that, had a good example of this.

so the antagonist is also the romance/love interest

tough "character structure" to work with

sounds freeking hard

I like my script ideas to be goofy and dumb and stupid like me - writings hard enough

hero: girl
bad guy: monster
love interest: her boyfriend

brave man! good luck

Well, there should be conflict between the protagonist and love interest anyway. Just heighten it.

Why not switch it up for added drama: female as antagonist, male as protagonist, this might open up many new plot possibilities.

It's called "Basic Instinct"(1992)... make sure the antagonizing female isn't wearing undies on the day she's sitting in the 'star chamber' chair, being interrogated by a bleacher full of cops...
