F55: Rolling shutter test (or lack of it)

Another. Some scary skin colors in there but great detail in some shots. https://vimeo.com/61044316
Just saw you put my link up. Just an FYI that testing the hypergamma 4 was straight with no tweaks to the profile. There was a mix of multiple light sources from tungsten, fluorescent and still a bit of daylight in the beginning. I only did a slight white balance to a couple of shots at the beginning. If it was graded we would then balance for the mix of colour temps. This was to see what the hypergamma looked like, and then the S log. It's for Visteks launch so very much a test.

One of the big things with the F55 is how rich the couloirs are. Had not seen what what the hypergammss looked like before. We're trying to show footage straight out of the can

Yep, I watched Nigels vid and before reading his post I knew immediately that the skins were affected by multiple light temps. The camera looks great and I'm sure with the right profile and a little grading for the light temps there is nothing to say other than GO SONY!

This is some really lovely footage Nigel. The shots have such a romantic, warm feel. I noticed it was snowing lightly outside which added to the feel. I'm not sure about the element resistance-ness of the F55, but were you worried at all about the camera out there?

Thanks. The camera is solidly built. Less plastic feeling than my F3. It was a very cold night in Toronto. It was lightly snowing, and we never had any issues.
