now that everyone are worried with the bad rolling shutter on the new camera of Sony, I saw in another post this video shot with the previous a7s with similar rolling shutter and attempt for reducing the problem with the right post production tools. What do you guys think?

Possible to minimize going with post? Decent solution to solve or minimize the problem? What do you say?

The workaround is to use a camera with global shutter. The video specs on the A7rII look impressive but I'm not expecting anything special from it and will await the A7sII for any upgrade in video capability like 10bit 4.2.2 external through HDMI, 4k 4.2.0 internal and global shutter in cropped APS-C mode........

There is some software from ProDad that will tackle jello and rolling shutter. I'm blessed with many bits of fairly expensive software (i'm NukeX based for starters) yet this piece of prosumer software is by far and away the best at dealing with this, to the point in some cases it is almost magical. It's the only software that maps the rolling shutter (not just the skew) and warps back. It's not 100% perfect but on the sample video above it would do an excellent job.

I have no connection to the company other that being a happy customer.

It is only with this software that i actually use the A7s handheld. Run at 4K, process that and then downsample to HD. The quality is excellent.

cheers
Paul
