Rolling shutter fix

The skew, wooble, etc. artifacts are caused because of "reading" the sensor data in different places at the different time. I was wondering if a Time displacement effect (in After Effects) with a gradient as a displace map could fix this problem. When I tried it I've discovered that a problem is caused by low time resolution. It came to my mind, that some time interpolation like timewarp or Twixtor plugin could help. Does anybody know, how to do that?

ok...I've just found a way to deemphasize the wobble effect in after effects. its not perfect way, but it might work on unstable handheld footage. Ok...when you have the footage layer in the composition, duplicate it. Then move the bottom layer one frame to the right so it starts one frame later than the top layer. Create new solid layer and add a Ramp effect with default settings-black on top, white on bottom of the frame. The last step is to set the middle's layer (the one that begins sooner) TrackMatte to Luma Inverted Matte of that solid. Ok...that should be all. But it may cause some sort of double edge on fast panning shots. It works basically like the frame interpolation method but with the difference, that the frames are not interpolated pixel_motion-like, but simply blended together. Here is the AAE7 project file (insert your footage into "source" composition) de-wobble.aep (hope you dont mind filefactory.com)
