Rokinon 24mm Optical Vignetting

I purchased the Rokinon 24mm T1.5 CineDS Canon mount in hopes of having a decent fast lens in a wide low natural light scene. I combined this lens with my speed booster ultra to mount on my Sony FS 700. At the lowest F Stop Optical Vignetting quickly reared it's ugly head (hotspot effect). Focus fall off was really bad as well. The center of the image was sharp and bright with the brightness and focus falling off progressively worse towards the edges of the frame. This problem doesn't exist at F5.6 Does anybody else have this problem with the 24mm Rokinon lens or do I have a bad lens?

What suggestions do you have for a decently priced (1K or lower) sharp and fast (F2 or lower) wide fixed lens (16-20mm) for Super35 format that won't have the problems listed above?

I've got the 24 and to my mind it falls well short of the IQ of the other lenses in the range (at least wide open) - and I've seen that said elsewhere as well (although I can't remember exactly where). Mine cleans up at f4 to f8-11. Possibly we've got the standard copies and Liam just got lucky!
