Rocky Balboa trailer

Has anyone seen the 60 second teaser trailer for Rocky Balboa?

I can't find a working link myself but others supposedly have seen it.

Just curious if anyone has impressions to share.

Yeah, I saw it... Its lame. Not worth seeing. Its just an ECU of stallone's eyes and a voiceover. That's it.

I'll try to find the link.

Apparently Sly's site couldn't handle all the hits it got after posting the teaser.

Yeah I guess they weren't prepared to handle the 3 people that were interested. :costumed-smiley-047

it sounded too much like bruce willis's rant in the begining of Sin City...but not as cool...

Hey yo, only one original Rocky, 1976, Dir. John G. Avildsen. Only one worth watching. :)

Uninspired teaser, sure, but I'm a sucker for the Rocky movies (yes, all of them, even 5), so I'll be there on opening day. :)

That was just bad. I know it goes without saying with Sly, but that was horrible acting in the voice over. Is that the best take they got? He sounds like he's reading it for the first time.

lol...yeah, it does look bad, but at the same time I really wanna see what this old man can do in the ring. He's known for Rocky Balboa, and now what? 20 years later he comes back into it, its just cool to see that.

I liked the trailer, alot. Balboa was never a very articulate or animated speaker. His speech and cadence and tone were spot on for his character, sounding much older and wiser and tired. I liked it, and look forward to seeing the whole package. :)

I don't know if people look for him to fail or if it's just what we've come to expect of him in the past few years.

I'm still a Stallone fan. Watched Copland the other night. Love that flick.

i cant wait to see some fun rocky moments. i love the montages. very inspirational. yes one is the best, but the other ones are pure fun. 3 and 4 are my favs. i cant wait to see this and rambo 4.

I think Stallone made a lot of bad choices (Ie: bad roles/bad movies) and its one of those things where 10 years ago people were joking about Rocky part 28. It seems like an unneccessary and desperate move on his part to try and revive successfully his only two successful franchises, Rocky and Rambo (odd-both begin with R and have 5 letters!). I mean Rocky 5 was pushing it in terms of story and believability. How much suspension of disbelief can you expect a movie goer to have?

I'd like to see Sly have a comeback of sorts, just not so desperately like this. A few years back I read a draft of a script he wrote about Edgar Allen Poe. Really cool. I'd rather see him find success this time around maybe behind the cameras.

Trying to revive his only
'his only two successful franchises'

How many actors have more than one ?

The reality is he hasn;t had a decent flick since COPLAND (Which is a great film)

But I admit I cannot agree with some of his choices; but I liked all of these films:

Daylight
Judge Dredd
Assassins
The Specialist
Cliffhanger
Demolition Man
Lock Up
Tango & Cash
Cobra

Now Rocky 1 and 2 are epic but the other ones are still kind of fun in a popcorny way. First Blood RULES and the others still have a kind of fun 80's thing going on.

What is more impressive is that he wrote the screenplays to most of them.

There are a gazillion 'Has Been' actors and talent out there; but how many have achieved what he has ? He was never simply a regular Joe Star; this dude was megaman.

Incidentally; Harrison Ford (MT childhood actor idol dude) hasnt exactly been a role lately.
