Hi!
I am ready to share with you our new music-video..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYjS7-FCv9A
Everything started like a project for our friends PhD diploma work ( course video producer )..
We had the story, but no music.. After a short time, we find some DJ which had a new song that was appropriate for video. After some time and first agreement, the DJ started to complicate about leting him the author rights for music-video and some nonsence like this, so we decided that that would be a no-go.. We tried to find somebody else, and we somehow find another DJ duo called Rochus, which allready prepared the CD, but anyway they didn't put it in distribution after one year.. They are also resident DJ in a biggest discoteque in our country ( Slovenia ). Although they choosen another song, we picked Hypnotist like most apropriate. The nexst step was vocals ( couse song was instrumental only ).. We found contact with singer Christine which is ex singer from established group in our country; Leeloojameis..
Christine took her job very seriously and in one day she put together text and singed it in studio.
Then came another big challenge; music video. We had zero budget, but some equipment ( EX1, SGpro with lenses ).. It take us three days to shoot completely, because I was ( like a camera-man) on duty for that weekend and I was off the set three times a day..
But alltogether it have a happy ending. The song/video found it's way to MTV Adria, where is present for allready 7 weeks; now it places 2nd position for third week. Our friend made diploma very successful, and now they propose him to go on Masters on the same university. The headmaster on university, who is established film-director ( Janez Lapajne ) said that they didn't had so good diploma work since that university exsist, and he was very interested in picture arcieved with DOF adapter..
The major surprice for us was today when it was announced that '' Rochus ft. Christine - Hypnotist '' placed 52nd place on Samsung Top 100 of 2009 on MTV Adria, scored better even than ''Pink - Funhouse''.. and also it is the only performer from Slovenia
