I certainly respect him for keeping a straight face in that show.:) Had to be tough, even for a robot.

First of all, I have to get this off my chest... F**K Tweekie!

That being said, my all time favorite would be B9, from the original Lost In Space, not the remake. Kits are available to build them if you have the electronic skill, the patience, the huge boatload of money...

Beat- the second robot in your post is familiar. Who was it? The one before Ultraman.

The thing that always bugged me about that show, and similar shows, is they'd they'd waste all this time fighting the Robeasts of threats of the day as individual units, and then only after they got their fannies tanned would they form Voltron. After, I dunno, the second or third time, you'd figure they'd just start out that way.

Ha ha, I had the same feeling about the Hellboy movie. I mean, getting the firegirl to burn the **** out of all the bad guys would be my FIRST choice. :)
 
Nah... you gotta' send in the ground troops first... that's my ***** about MOST Hollywood movies... is the contrived story arcs of stupid choices only to draw out the story.

Hey about Twiki or whatever... that is my vote for Worst Robot Ever! Lord... what sick, twisted designer would construct a robot with a permanent page-boy haircut? Sick.
 
The pageboy haircut was the style of the day. Don't you remember the boy with the robot dog from Battleship Galactica? Or Adam Rich from Eight is Enough?

I second that vote, but you see Twiki is not a robot its an oversized mechanical dil.... :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
Not from a movie, Japans most advanced AI robot. This thing is creepy as hell.

Hey KDawg, thanks for the link! That brought back memories, and a name too! It also reminded me of the old Space Giants show. I used to watch all three of them, UltraMan included.

Dr. Theopolis? Yes. He made many comments about how "handsome" Buck was, how "dashing" he looked in his dress uniform, and when Buck summed up Princess Ardala by saying she had nice . . . "horns," Theo said "she DID have a very nice hat."
