Hi all!
For the the last 6 days, I've been on the road shooting 7-Eleven's Slurpee Unity Tour 2010.
Yeah ever since Obama said he likes Slurpees, 7-Eleven decided to have our production company shoot a road trip campaign. (www.facebook.com/slurpee)
We shot something similar to this in May, (www.711roadtrip.com) but for that we mostly shot on Sony EX3's and EX1's while getting the the pretty B-Roll shots and interviews with Canon 1D's.
Though for this project I decided to tackle all the footage with two 1D rigs.
So far the work flow seems to be pretty smooth.
Each 1D is on RedRock shoulder mount with follow-focus and 7inch Swit HD monitor. On the back weight is an Audio Technica dual mic receiver and and BeachTek DXA-SLR preamp and Auto Gain Control disabler - so that we can record audio directly into the camera.
So far it's worked great!
I'd love to hear what you guys think.
The videos are in the video section at www.facebook.com/slurpee
And are titled Slurpee Unity Tour
Thanks,
Justin
