RnB Music Video Rough Cut

I think it was pretty good. However you need more cuts in the editing and more CU of the performer. I think you stuck with to wide of a shot for the most of the video. Also the scene by the window the lighting is very harsh and maybe a reflector to fill in the other side of her face would help

I like the song:)

Umm.. so many times when the camera stands still and focuses on her there's to much air over her.. like, to much space.. You should really work on getting your motive more "in your shot". It looks sort of stupid when you cut so much of her body and there's so much space left over her. But when you (for an example) are taller then the motive you shouldn't just tilt the camera, be very careful with getting your angle the way you want it. Frog-perspective is a way to give the motive "power".. Bird-perspective makes the motive "weak"..
And something you should really look out for is the "
golden ratio". Keep the motive within the golden ratio.

Thanks for advice. Were actually shooting some more & i will get shoots to make the improvements you mentioned. Thanks for your time and wisdom. god bless

ur lighting is more soap opera and less music video. try experimenting more. and clean ur lens whenever ur going to have a sun flare. but good effort.

you need quicker cuts. we shouldn't be looking at the same shot for close to 10 seconds. also some color correcting would help. the wide shot of the dude eating a bowl of cereal felt long and coulda been broken up into a few different angles at least. lighting needs work as mentioned above. try some different types of diffusion maybe some gels.
