Dude, looking at the dates of your films, it's totally awesome to put out a feature film a year. The longest you went without shooting was between 2008 - 2010 and the film dropped in 2010. That's totally sick. I'm trying to get to that point now, where I'm dropping 'em like that.

Thanks! It's like I've said before, I make movies because I like to make movies. Since I don't do shorts anymore, I have to do more features ;)

Shooting dates: Wulf was shot in July 2007 and released October 2008. Leap was shot August 2009 and released Jan 2010. Leap: ROTB is being shot now (let's say August 2010) and will be released April 2011. By January, I'll start writing my next script to shoot next summer.

Spent the day working on some images that will be composited onto computer monitors. Looking pretty good! We're not shooting next week so I'll try to get the VFX for what I've shot so far completed.

This is sweet! I'll be doing a lot of compositing myself in AE. I'd love to see more of your comps.

Here's a before and a slap comp of a shot from the chase. I know the girl in the back is looking at the camera. That will be fixed.

Let's welcome the newest member to the Leap crew, Chelsea Raugust as the new Crystal!

Took a break from filming the other day to have dinner with my family. My sister and I were screwing around on the trampoline with my camera and she snapped this awesome shot:

Totally sweet! Did you let the Hollywood Reporter know you were shooting BTW? You should always do that. Let them know about a month in advance when your casting and shooting dates are. And you need to put that trampoline thing on one of those "is this a photoshop" sites.

So does anyone besides Nate have any thoughts on the screen grabs? Last time around people were quick to tell me they sucked and that I shouldn't be my own DP, etc... This time, nothing. I mean, I honestly don't care what people on here think of the picture, I'm not doing it for them. I just find it funny.

Then why are you asking and, as well, why would anyone want to say anything about it?

You may get a better response with actual video.

lol. Fair enough. I shouldn't of phrased it that way. It was meant more as an observation than anything.

Hey, cool! 300th post!
