Looking for a woman
he died today of a heart attack. it was really unexpected because he just took over last year. RIP.

What?!?!?! I remember your thread from last year!?!? That is so sad. Heart Attack? That's so human. I mean, that's like saying, "My 4 year old German Shepard just died from Bubonic Plague." Wow.

I am ridiculously attached to the 9 year old Pomeranian I inherited from my mother and she's just now getting to that point where her age is showing, she's got a little arthritis in her back right leg, etc. So, this news hit home little bit.
 
I'm sorry to hear that... I love dogs. There was an article in Nat Geo years ago... I don't remember the actual title... but the title/subtitle was something to the effect of "Dogs have been evolving for 100K years... but into what?"

I found that article very interesting... and some celebrity has a little ditty about dogs... how one day the wolf hung around the hunter... and defended him because the wolf was able to get scraps of food on the outskirts of a camp... and hence the bargain was struck.

Notice they don't say "women are man's best friend"... although they can be... let's face it... dogs rock.

I'm sorry for not providing links and proper research... but hopefully you get the crux of my rambling... and feel better about the good times with Uga.
 
My dogs are fighting each other on the floor like this never happened. They're such little troopers.
 
Sorry to hear that. I, too, remember your thread announcing him as the new mascot.

Bulldogs are awesome critters.
 
I have a french bulldog and I think he's going down the green mile too. :( Sucks man I know how you're feeling, sorry to hear !

A bulldog life expectancy isn't very long to begin with, so you have to treat them as if everyday were their last.
