RIP: Patrick Swayze

I was already in my early 20's when Dirty Dancing came out, but it made me feel like a kid. It was a little embarrassing for this long-haired, beer slugging, metal-playing guy to dig it, but I did.

Even now, if I am going through radio stations and "She's Like The Wind" comes on (y'know, ahem... sandwiched between Motorhead and Rob Zombie) I leave it on.

I went to Catholic schools in NYC through high school. I couldn't wait to get out so i could grow my hair. It didn't take more than a few months after graduation before I could hear the ironic snickers of the gods as I watched my hair gather in the drain.

But, at least I didn't die of pancreatic cancer. So I'm not complaining. :thumbsup:
