Strangely fitting that this character actor, who was always overshadowed by superstars, would also be overshadowed by another person on the day of his death. You may not know his name but you'll probably recognize his face--

He had an incredible voice, and lent it to several animated series. "The Critic", "God, the Devil, and Bob", and (guilty pleasure, I admit) "Squidbillies".

He is one of those that you refer as "yeah you know that" and always get the same response "yeah that guy I can't remember his name but I've seen him in a movie before..." , I'm sure that lots of people know his face but not his name.

Great character actor. Always thought he had a Chuck Connors type of quality/look, and yes, a great voice.

I just happened across The Blues Brothers on Encore a month or so back. "You're gonna look really funny trying to eat corn on the cob with no poo pooin' teeth!"
