RIP: Blake Edwards

The Party is my personal favorite. There is an art of purely visual comedy that seems to have been lost, and which Blake was a master of.

The Party is amazing movie.
For me, I'll always remember the scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's: Audrey Hepburn singing Moon River and playing the guitar, on the fire escape--one of the few times when she was allowed to sing without being voiced-over.
The song was written to fit her range. A moment of real music in art.

Chasing the floating shoe through the house in The Party is somehow what will always stick with me. RIP, great show.

Honestly, I liked the later films more: SOB, V/V, Skin Deep...

Liked them more, not saying I didn't like them all.
