Rigging the FS700 - tips, tricks and a review of Lanparte's Pro rig V2 + many photos!

Hi there Tazzaria,
Where did you get this support piece from? even with lens support at the front, I'm very anxious of something like a Metabones adapter taking the strain for carrying a big piece of glass at the front of the camera!
Many thanks.
Ian

Hi All,

been trying to get my fs700 feeling right for a few months. I feel i have just about got there now.

I've tried to get this rig as compact, easy and solid as possible. On the shoulder it's nicely balanced with an IDX E7s battery and average weighted lens. I have put a bit of extra foam to give me more play when finding the correct balance on my shoulder.

I also wanted to be able to take it off the shoulder and put it into a nice case / bag without having to take anything apart. I almost achieved this! The only thing that needs to come off when packing away is the battery.

This thread is too funny - we should rename it 'Pimp My Ride'.
It's beginning to look and sound more like a custom hot rod forum!

Which case is that ? :) about to order same set of gear and might have to change cases to achieve not pulling it apart if I know I'm going to be on a handheld heavy project :)
