Ridley Scott's "Prophets of Science Fiction" on Discovery Science Channel

The interviews on this show were shot by a friend of mine, and I replaced him for a couple episodes. We shot on 2 AF100s with Nanoflash at 100Mbps. Lenses used were the Zeiss ZF 50 1.4, 85, and 100mm macro.

We didn't have anything to do with the recreations, those were shot by people from Scott Free, on the Red.

Was 100Mbps a "specification" for the project? I am sure the Nanoflash can go higher bitrate ...so thats why I ask.

The requirement was 50, but we decided to go with 100 on the nanoflash.

Thanks Oleg! I get the sense that the AF100 is finally making its way into more TV productions, especially reality/documentary series. Shooting another Discovery show right now, all the interviews on AF100, with hands/eyes cutaways on a hacked GH2.

it wasn't really a specification, but more a "preference" i think. Discovery OK'ed using AF100 with nanoflash at 50Mbps. Don't know if thats a blanket standard, or specifically for this show.
