RG59 50' BNC Component Cable loss?

I'm connecting a totevision 7" onboard monitor to a Gateway 24" computer monitor (using it as a field monitor), and I'm planning to buy a 50 foot 3 BNC to 3 RCA RG59 cable to do it. ($30 at http://www.connectworld.net/cgi-bin/prolink/H3304?qQNaEz7R;;102)

However, I've heard that there is high frequency signal loss with RG59 cable over 25 feet. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Is RG-6 worth seeking out?

Additionally am I right that getting a 3 BNC (that totevision uses) to 3 RCA (that my monitor uses) cable, makes more sense that getting 3 BNC to 3 BNC and buying the adapter? My thought is that the more adapters used the more signal loss?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give, this stuff is driving me crazy right now:)

In everything I have done and the engineer I normally consult insists that video does not belong on an RG6 cable. My engineer friend told me that the RG6 cable was designed for cable TV, not for carrying a composite or component signal. (maybe thats where the RG59 high frequency loss is coming into play) For monitoring you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I would get the BNC to BNC cable. you dont lose that much signal in the conversion and one of these day when you buy somethign bigger than the HVX you will be happy you have it.

Thanks for the response! Was beginning to think no one was going to answer:) It's good to hear that RG6 isn't the answer, it will save me some cash and I was struggling to find those 3 BNC to BNC cables anyway.
