revisiting the intervalometer

-hey all, been a while since anyone has talked about this- I'm already aware of the past links to this subject-- just wondering if anyone is using anything different- or is JJC from Japan/China the way to go??

Has anyone done any night shooting (timelapse w/ intervalometer) w/ Gh1 lately??

I've been testing out the JJC this past week with some night shoots and scouting around my local area. I bought it from a US distributor on ebay... rainbowimaging. I buy a lot of my gear from them and like them a lot.

So far I really like the JJC... it's very easy to use. I have heard some complain that it inexplicably quit working for them, but so far so good with mine. When I was shopping around, I couldn't find an alternative to the JJC unless I built my own.

The GH1 has a 10sec delay 3 shot seq.

Wonder if Tester13 could modify the 3 shot to 999 and make the interval selectable? then you could stop it manually when you wanted!
 
Actually an intervalometer is so easy to implement I keep wondering why manufacturers dont build it in in the first place. Yes, I do hope Tester13 can squeeze this in somehow too.
