GH4 review & aerial test – “Belief”

Very cool video. Beautiful shots and cinematography. Only critiques would be a bit of the audio. It wasn't bad at all. Most of it quite good. The one part that drew my attention, though, was the Monk/Priest walking out of the door. You had a voiceover going, but you also had the audio from the background video, and that was a lav mic that was on the walking priest 1:28. I realize you used the audio because you wanted the audio of the door, but you could hear the mic rubbing against his clothing. I'd just cut everything out of the audio of that clip except the doors, and then maybe add some B-roll bird chirping or other audio back in to add ambiance. Also, just a little thing, but I would have liked to have seen a wide shot of the front of the monastery at the end to get a sense of where it was in space, but that may just be personal preference. However these are just little nit picks on a piece that is very, very well done.

Beautifully done, and I enjoyed it again as much as I did the first time several days ago -on the Vimeo/GH4 group, I believe. Superbly detailed without evidence of over-sharpening, lovely light and gradation - another great example of the power of downconverting native 4K to FHD. Thanks!
