Reversable Gear Folllow Focus advice please

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a decent FF for my Nikon glass, as the title states I'm after a reversible gear model.
I wondered if there was much back-lash play when you either modified by adding gears or flipping mechanisms?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

It totally depends on which brand, and which model.What one do you have in mind?

...I was looking at the mid-range market and was taken by the RedRock Blue, however after further investigation it appears that the FF can only swap over for shorter lenses as opposed to reversing the mechanism. So are there any other mid-priced options or do I have to step up to an Arri to get a good FF?
