Reuse viewfinder from old Sony on AF100

I have an old Sony V1P HDV camera that I don't use. Does anyone think it would be possible to remove the viewfinder from it and repurpose for external use on the AF100?

Or is that pure science fiction?

I know it would need a power source and some way to get HDMI/HD-SDI into it. But surely it's not impossible.....?

The input of your Sony viewfinder is probably analog so you'll need a HDMI to analog converter, power, etc. That's going to be a long route.
