Resolve - Official, ProRes rendering on Windows!

Perhaps but I wouldn't hold my breath. To me the most underappreciated Resolve-supported raw format is NRAW, and comes with an 8K /60P Nikon camera attached.

Understand and appreciate that fact. But now being able to encode directly to Prores on Windoz saves me having to convert material to Prores externally when clients request a Prores master of an edit. I have used the 'unofficial' Voukoder Prores encoder plugin for Resolve, but it's pretty slow. This official implementation is much quicker.

It's Prores "Raw" that creates some controversy. John Brawley says Apple and BMD have a strong cooperative relationship in general but it doesn't seem to extend to Prores Raw which is a more direct competitor to BMD's own BRAW. Prores raw doesn't seem to be a native format on too many cameras but is common on Atomos recorders which compete directly with BMDs recorders.
