Resolve 12 cannot recognize audio from A7RII

In my NLE audio from A7RII works fine, also in Quicktime Player and windows mediaplayer, but not in Resolve. I have to render in in another format (like XVAS) at first - than I can see the the score symbol on the clip in the media pool and hear the sound in Resolve
Must it be like that, or do I need to make some other adjustments?
Its very cumbersome to transform before.

Morgan, I dont understand: the A7rII doesntn offer the Dolby option. There is only a 2 channel Lpcm audio provided by the A7rII
