Reset time code display?

I recently just purchased a panasonic ag-hmc150 and i noticed that the time code display keeps adding up everytime i film whether i clear the card or not. Wondering if there is a way to reset that. Thanks.
 
"Menu," "TC/UB SETUP," "TC PRESET," "YES,"then set it to all zeroes- or whatever you would like, "TC PRESET?" (yes)... should do it.

Just got a brand new HMC 151E since yesterday and discovering the joy of a world without tapes (tought I'm feel like betraying my beloved DVX100…).

But:

Is there not another way of reseting the TC to 00:00:00:00 that navigating through the menus? Counter is reseting by pressinf the reset TC/Counter button, but not the TC.
So will the TC running forever as I shoot?

It bugged me at first too, but since tapeless work flow is so much different than tape, it doesn't even bother me any more. In fact I completely ignore it unless jam syncing cameras using freerun.
 
The only way to reset the TC to zero is to do it through the menus. I believe that it is intentionally difficult to do it. Otherwise, it could become accidentally reset.
 
Thank you. As Denwa said, I supposed I find this weird because I'm so used to see a brand new 00:00:00:00 TC each time I insert a new tape.
