I need to replace the socket that affixes my Altman Inkies to a light stand.
I'm considering this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/con...ories&A=details&Q=&sku=546490&is=REG#features
It's a 5/8" socket with a 3/8" inch threaded top, on top of which, of course, would go a locking wingnut.
My concern is that my yoke has a hole much larger than 3/8". In fact, I haven't measured exactly what size it is yet, so in this way I'm kind of wasting your time.
Just the same, I know that adding in a couple of washers could help. It's just that it would be unbalanced.
I've searched B&H and Filmtools as best as I can. Am I missing something? Can anyone point me to a better choice or make a better suggestion?
Thanks for your help.
