Repast

I love the overhead shot of the table with everyone talking...all the different faces are great, especially the elderly! I love the family theme also....This is what directors and actors need to study....real life.

btw, the camera did well, you too :-)

Settings:

720/60p dropped into a 24fps timeline in Vegas Pro 9 (1280x720)
Manual Movie mode and Shutter Priority mode ("standard " setting)
125 shutter on all shots
Auto White Balance ( I know.....not good)
Slight color corrections
some effects (lens flair in openng shot....vingnette on a few shots)

Overall i'm getting used to the Vegas workflow.....I'm actually becoming quite impressed considering my machine is 32 bit Vista pro with a 2.6 quad core, 4 GB of RAM (3 gig switch and UAC disabled). One thing I cant do on my machine is render 1080 files....I get the dreaded out of memory errors. I'm really thinking of updating to a a shiny new HP laptop with the new mobile core i7's and 64 bit Windows 7.
