I have a question in relation to the thread I started here a couple of days ago.

I have spoken with Panasonic in the UK and this is what they had to say about my problem:
Hello
Thanks for the pictures.
The problem (it is assumed this is the camera picture not VTR playback) is
a digital process problem. The camera signal is processed in a digital form
and one of the 8 digital signal path is faulty. To cure; the camera pcb
must be exchanged. This will cost (approx) £200 for the part and £140 for
labour.
The cost may be different in the USA.

What I am wondering is if anyone else has had a similar problem or knows how much i should be roughly looking at to get the camera repaired in the United States where I am situated at the moment. Thanks for your time.
