I have a 100b with about 50 hours on it.

Last Saterday when I was filming some shorts both the flipout screen and the eye piece screen got a flood of neon green and pink in them where you could hardly see anything. When my hand was within a foot of the lens it had normal color. I got it to go away for a second but then it came right back.
I know it is not the screens my guess is it is somthing internal with the lens or the electronics.
Has anybody had this problem?

thanks, Greg

Yea I am Sure. At first I thought it was just the screen but the eye piece had the same thing just in black and white. I will try and get a picture up.

WOW, that is really messed up! There is definitly wrong with something inside you camera. You need to get that checked out. Try reseting the camera. If that dosent work (probably wont) then take it in.

So did a test last night and reset the camera. at first i rest and it went away for like 30 sec. Then i figured out that only bright or direct light affects it. other then that it give a normal image.

any other ideas?

i've read in the manual and among other members here that you should never point the lens directly at the sun. have you? i'm going to guess if that happened it might seriously bake the CCD's but i technically don't know what specifically could happen if you did that.
