GH3 Repair experience with my GH3

Does anyone have the phone number to Panasonic service for the GH3? I can't find it on their website.

I can't believe that Panasonic does not offer to pay for shipping to their repair facility when the repair is needed within the warranty period. Absolutely terrible that I had to pay nearly $50 to send my GH3 to Tx.

I'm not surprised. I think I remember C300 owners having to pay in order to get dust cleaned from the sensor due to a design flaw (now fixed with a new part). Most shops sell special warranties to cover this sort of stuff which is a big revenue stream on new purchases.

I may have missed it in this thread but what is wrong with your GH3?

I guess I've been spoiled by Apple.

Well, I heard from Panasonic. They tried to replicate the error and couldn't reproduce it. That sucks. So they are returning the camera this week. They said they cleaned the contacts, but that is it. I guess if it happens again, I will have to send it in again. Sucks b/c I wasted a lot of money on shipping.
