How does everyone/anyone handle renting out their HPX500? I've had interested and will do it for select people who buy insurance but don't know how to make that happen exactly....

thanks!

Good question, Don.

I am considering the same thing, and ditto the select people!!

I just put a call into a friend that rents his stuff. I'll let you know what I find out.

Not to sure about this, I only rent mostly to qualified customers. It's a good idea to have the renters insurance company fax you a rider with your name on it, so if anything were to happen to your HPX the claim would go under the renter's insurance and they would be responsible for the deductible not you. If they don't have insurance and you rent them the camera and something happens to it, you have to make the claim and pay the deductible.

It's not unreasonable to require a babysitter. If you don't want to do it personally, chances are you know someone you can trust for $150/day.
The best way is to rent the DP with the cam, of course!
