rented a Fujinon A15x8BDEVM-28B 2/3" servo zoom for the AF-100

Is this your ENG-Run & Gun setup?

How do you like the image quality compared to cine/still lenses. I'm sure there's a trade off for connivence.
I'm thinking about getting a B4 lens for ENG style shooting but concerned about the quality of the image.

Yup, this is my run and gun rig.

Definitely lose a bit of light, but I just raise the ISO to maje up for it.

It's good to get that shallow dof while still having a servo zoom.

Turbodog.
You should post some pics of your product. I would like to see what you got.

Here is the basic setup. There's a battery in the pouch with a cable I made to power the servo on the lens. I have some rails on order but with this adapter you don't have to support the lens. The adapter takes all the weight of the lens.

I am confused by the various model names of the A series Fujinon lenses. There is Argus, Pegasus, and perhaps others. I don't know the significance of these labels (listed right next to the model number). I've not seen any description of what these signify.
Here are the Fujinon lines that I know about - I think that they quit using them when they went to IF lenses. The names apply whether the lens is for 2/3" or 1/2". There may be others too but mostly you see these:

Argus = Broadcast wide angle
Pegasus = Broadcast 14X
Cygnus = Industrial (I think) 13X
Gemini = Industrial 12X
Eagle = Industrial 16X
Phoenix = Industrial (I think) 17X
Lynx = 18X (not sure if it's broadcast or industrial)
Orion = 22X (not sure if it's broadcast or industrial)
