Ok, I'm a long time reader but first time poster.
Here is the deal. I'm rendering a wedding I shot, but everytime it gets close to the end (like, last 30 secs).....my entire PC shuts down and restarts. This started to cause OS issues so I cleared off my main harddrive and reloaded XP. Figured this may fix any lingering OS issues. Well I tried it again tonight, and it is doing the same thing. Still rebooting. Not sure where it go from here. Let me give ya some specs.
I have a 2.4G P4
533FBS
768 PC2100 DDR Ram
1 - 40G HD
1 - 250G Firewire HD (Brand New)
WinXP
Vegas5
All my raw footage and timeline are saved on the external drive. I'm rendering to the Internal Drive. I'm using the template set for mpeg2 24p widesceen streaming so I can create my dvd in DVDA-2. The only changes to the template are the video quality is set to the Best setting and I added streaming audio as well.
I have noticed that everytime it dies, I check the Mpeg file it was creating and notice its always 3.07G. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
Any ideas?
