Rendering in After Effects to Vegas

I'm mixing 24pa and 30i footage from AE and putting it all together in Vegas. Is it possible to retain the progressive 24pa and leave the 30i footage untouched? How do i go about doing this? Thanks.

Unless you render them separately, you can only apply one codec to the entire composition in AE. This includes options such as pulldown (or lack thereof).

I applied the pulldown and rendered the entire thing in after effects. After rendering the whole thing in Vegas, the 24pa stuff looks fine, but the 30i is a little strange. A little "flickery" looking. Any way to fix this?

I do not believe so. As stated before, you must render different types of footage (field order, progressive, frame rate, etc.) separately in order for them to retain their properties.
